Jennifer + Franchesca

It has taken me a little while to post this gorgeous wedding. There are just so many amazing pictures that I had a very hard time picking which ones to post. And, Jennifer and Franchesca are two of my favorite people, so I wanted to make sure that I do their wedding justice!

I worked with them for almost a year so we got to know each other really well. They're so much fun and they love each other fiercely. They're dog people - they have a few of their own pups and they foster. (We actually adopted one of their fosters puppies back in January!) They're one of the most romantic couples I've ever worked with. Always going the extra mile to give a gift or surprise each other with something special. There were many swoon-worthy moments throughout their big day and we'll get to those, but first let's talk design!

Jennifer and Franchesca wanted steampunk meets Alexander McQueen meets New Orleans theme. We worked with Bill and Allie from Bowman and Clark to bring their incredible vision to life through decor and flowers. Everything from the entry staircase to the welcome table to the ceremony space to the sweetheart table was absolutely stunning! They incorporated hundreds of found objects so that each table was different. Some items came from Jennifer and Franchesca's personal collection, which made it even more special. Take a peek at their wedding film below to see Franchesca's reaction to seeing the tablescapes for the first time.

While they wanted everything to look amazing, they also wanted their guests to have a great time. To keep the guests entertained during dinner, performers from Liquid Sky wowed everyone with lyra and acro-duo routines. We also had a slow motion photo booth for guests to engage with throughout the night. And, of course, LED glow sticks because who doesn't love a good dance party with glow sticks?!

Jennifer, a Louisiana native, wanted a phenomenal buffet of Cajun-style dishes, like red beans and rice and a low country boil. Dinner was followed by peach cobbler and two different wedding cakes. And, finally, Cult Carts provided delicious empanadas as a late night snack, which was a nod to Franchesca's Spanish roots.

Before the end of the night, Franchesca surprised Jennifer with a Second Line, which is a super fun New Orleans tradition that signifies the start of a new beginning. The couple leads the line with beautiful parasols and the guests follow behind them waving handkerchiefs and dancing along the way. Once the guests danced their way out of the venue, Jennifer and Franchesca shared the last dance of the evening together. Just the two of them.

Their gift exchange, the first look, the first dance - so many incredible moments that made us teary-eyed. Words can't describe the love you see between them, so check out the video and images below to see it firsthand.

Jennifer and Franchesca, it's an honor to call you both friends! Thank you for trusting me with such a special day. You'll always hold a special place in my heart because of who you are and also because you gave us our sweet pup! =) I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together!

A HUGE thank you to the most incredible vendor team that made this dream come true! I'm in complete awe of your talents! Scroll down for a full list of vendors. And, a special thank you to Chelsea Patricia Photography and Remedy Wedding Films for sharing this stunning video and these gorgeous images with us.
