These hot summer days have me dreaming about cooler weather, so I thought I would post about our last winter wedding. Josh and Shelby got married back in December and wanted a woodland themed wedding. Shelby wanted rich greens, burgundies and purples, with lots of moss and candlelight. They worked really hard to find unique elements that made their wedding feel like their own. For example, the bridesmaids carried lanterns with moss and a candle as opposed to the traditional bouquet. It was perfect for the theme!
I think one of my favorite moments of the day (I had at least two) was the first look that Shelby did with her dad and brother. Their reactions were so sweet and I loved that you could see the bridesmaids watching out the window in the background.
My other favorite was when Shelby surprised Josh by pulling out her guitar and singing to him. Josh and his family are from Quebec so she decided to sing La Vie en Rose as a nod to his French heritage. Everyone was in tears and Shelby sounded incredible!
Josh and Shelby, I absolutely loved working with you both and your families! I wish you all the best for many, many years of love and happiness!
