This day was such a dream because we love this amazing couple so much! Sarah's family and my family have known each other for 20+ years. My mom started working for her dad when we were kids, so our families grew up together and we still get to work together regularly. Needless to say, I was beyond excited to help Taylor and Sarah plan their big day.
They wanted to have a small wedding with their families and closest friends, and the backyard of their new home in Alpharetta was the best place to make that happen. Sarah doesn't love the spotlight so being at home, where things are comfortable and their dogs were able to run around was perfect . They even started their wedding morning in their PJs with a cozy brunch for two (well, four if you count the best pups in the world, Kema and Kallie).
I can't even begin to tell you how much work they put into making their backyard look like the absolute dream that it is. They turned an old RV shed into a gorgeous She-Shed with French doors from Paris and a vintage chandelier. Sarah loves plants and flowers, so she had already planted lots of pretty things. All we had to do was take it up a notch. We added more greenery and florals, small details like cozy blankets, hanging planters, and lots of candles. And, inside we collaborated with our friends over at The Victorian Atlanta to provide a variety of potted plants to help style their home for the morning brunch.
Sarah's vision came together perfectly and we are in love with these images! The absolute joy that you see was felt all day long. Everyone was very happy for this sweet couple and there were so many incredible moments throughout the day, but I'll let the images speak for themselves!
Thank you to Some Place Wild for capturing so much beauty and sharing it with us.
Taylor and Sarah, I can't thank you enough for asking me to be a part of your wedding day! I'm so excited to see what the future holds as you continue this journey together. Love you guys!
