There were a lot of special things about Ben and Leah's big day! Leah was referred to us by her friend, Sarah. They were bridesmaids in each other's weddings and it was so fun to work with both of them as brides and bridesmaids! And, Leah's wedding was at The Foundry at Puritan Mill, which is where I got married back in 2012 and I always love being back in that gorgeous space.

Ben and Leah wanted a classic, romantic day that ended in an awesome dance party and that's exactly what they got! The ceremony was simple and sweet with beautiful draping. The florals and decor complimented...

These hot summer days have me dreaming about cooler weather, so I thought I would post about our last winter wedding. Josh and Shelby got married back in December and wanted a woodland themed wedding. Shelby wanted rich greens, burgundies and purples, with lots of moss and candlelight. They worked really hard to find unique elements that made their wedding feel like their own. For example, the bridesmaids carried lanterns with moss and a candle as opposed to the traditional bouquet. It was perfect for the theme!

I think one of my favorite moments of the day (I had at least two) was...

It has taken me a little while to post this gorgeous wedding. There are just so many amazing pictures that I had a very hard time picking which ones to post. And, Jennifer and Franchesca are two of my favorite people, so I wanted to make sure that I do their wedding justice!

I worked with them for almost a year so we got to know each other really well. They're so much fun and they love each other fiercely. They're dog people - they have a few of their own pups and they foster. (We actually adopted one of their fosters puppies back in January!) They're one of the most...

I love Zach and Pascale's story. It's one of those fairytales stories that you rarely hear about, let alone get to be a part of. They grew up on the same street, their parents were friends, they went to the same school, were on swim team together and then lost touch, as we often do with old friends. Years later, they were matched online and the rest is history!

Zach proposed at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and they wanted to carry that theme throughout their big day. They chose the Atlanta Botanical Gardens Gainesville location for their venue. The ceremony was on their lawn and...

My favorite thing about Patrick and Meredith is that they are two of the sweetest, kindest people. They're always smiling and the way that they look at each other melts our hearts!

They chose Little River Farms as their venue and it was absolutely perfect for their vision. Patrick's sister is an amazing floral designer and knocked it out of the park! The peach and pink tones were so beautiful and all her arrangements were texture heaven. From the big installation on the gazebo for the ceremony...

Jake and Qianqian are such a sweet couple. Qianqian is from China and came here to attend school at Georgia Tech, where she and Jake met. Weddings are always a big deal, but they had many special moments. It was the first time Qianqian's parents had been to the states, the first time that their families met and obviously, the big day! Jake and Qianqian chose white, gold and red to honor her Chinese heritage. She wore a western wedding dress for the ceremony and then changed into a traditional Chinese qipao for the reception. Jake's favorite band, Blair Crimmins and the Hookers played...

This day was such a dream because we love this amazing couple so much! Sarah's family and my family have known each other for 20+ years. My mom started working for her dad when we were kids, so our families grew up together and we still get to work together regularly. Needless to say, I was beyond excited to help Taylor and Sarah plan their big day.

They wanted to have a small wedding with their families and closest friends, and the backyard of their new home in Alpharetta was the best place to make that happen. Sarah doesn't love the spotlight so being at home, where things are...

I know I've said this before, but we are so lucky to have the best clients. John and Kelsey are definitely two of the best. They are both kind, gentle spirits and it was a pleasure to work with them. My favorite moment was right before we opened the reception space. John and Kelsey were walking around the space, looking at the design and taking it all in, when he asked her to dance. Right then and there, they stole a quiet moment together and danced like no one else was in the room. Melt. my. heart. And, let me just say, Greek weddings are entirely too much fun. The food, the family, and...

This was such a fun night! Meredith works for Event Rentals Unlimited (who we love!) and we were so excited that she asked us to coordinate her wedding. Not only was their wedding at one of our favorite venues, but they chose some amazing vendors. Mark and Meredith really just wanted everyone to be able to mingle, dance and have fun. So, they focused on creating a relaxed environment with really good food and music. Everyone had such a great time, including us!

I feel like this post needs a little explaining before we dig in. Rudy and Annie are two of the most loving and joyful people you'll ever meet. Their wedding was really special for me for two reasons: 1) My husband, J.R., and I have known them both for many years and we were just so excited for them; 2) We were able to attend the wedding as guests, together! This never happens because he travels non-stop and I'm always working the wedding. Because of a previous commitment that week, I was unable to help plan their big day , so our other planner, Jamie stepped in and knocked it out of the...

These two looked like movie stars on the day of their wedding and Callanwolde was the perfect backdrop for their day. Everything had a classic, vintage feel with lots of pearls, rose gold and candlelight. It was absolutely beautiful, but don't let them fool you! Russell and Amber sure do know how to throw a party. Yummy, southern comfort food, a cigar and whiskey bar, and a packed dance floor made for a really fun night! A highlight of the evening was definitely Amber and her bridesmaids on the dance floor singing "Let It Go" at the top of their lungs! Congrats to the happy couple! Thanks...

It's pretty special to see one of your oldest friends get married to the love of his life! Even more special when they ask you to help coordinate the details of the day. Andrew and Emily are two of the funniest people I know. They aren't afraid to be silly and have a good time, which means their guests had a great time. Emily took great care in the design details. From the linens to the florals to the vintage glassware, she wanted everything to be eclectic, but cohesive and it was absolutely beautiful! The best parts of the day were the spontaneous things that made everyone laugh. Like,...
